The One Show

The One Show was everything we expected and then some. There were some great builds, some terrible builds, some vintage, some new-ish, some great surf rock, beer, food, swag… it was great!

Vintage Medical Charts From Ecuador

Recently we went to Ecuador to visit family and for the first time in 15 years found some vintage and antique stores. In all the visits past people always looked at us like we were crazy when we asked them if they knew of antique stores, but that is the subject of another long post coming soon. In the mean time I wanted to show off some amazing medical educational charts we found. I threw some of them up on our ETSY site if you want to pick a couple up for yourself.

Missed it… this is getting ridiculous.

Here We Go Again…

Missed another French poster for my collection. This one was from the 20’s for Griffon Motorcycles. It was a large poster and would have needed some restoration so I was only willing to go to $200. It went for $342 plus another $50 for shipping from France.

Bummer, Another One Bites The Dust!

The gap continues to broaden. Things that are rare or unusual keep getting more expensive, while the common stuff keeps going down in value. I can’t find the sweet spot these days on motorcycle posters. I missed another one…

The One Show… Motorcycles, That Is…

It’s time for The One Motorcycle Show in PDX again. This year it happens over the weekend of  February 8-10. I have plans to visit and so should you if you are in the Northwest. If not, you will have to wait for photos…

2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 40,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 9 Film Festivals
