My niece and nephew are still in town from Ecuador and the Missus had the great idea to bring them skiing during Spring Break. It is a bright sunny day and there is fresh snow on Mt. Bachelor this morning so I am sure there are already lines of powder-hounds queuing up at the chair lifts. It will take us at least another 2 hours to feed, clothe, and wrangle the kids into the car so a half-day lesson starting at noon is in order. Hopefully I can convince the Missus that I do not want to push and shove my way on to the lifts for a half day during Spring Break, with hundreds of yahoos in town for their once-a-year ski blitz. Instead I would rather enjoy the view from the lodge with a microbrew. Wish me luck!
